The painting of him as "a killer" is what happens to black and brown folks who commit crimes like this. We flatten their humanity and justify the discrimination that black and brown folks face as a whole. Justify the constant suspicion around us, around the way we dress, around the way we take pictures, around the way we talk. All of those things become reasons for suspicion. White criminals get are spoken about as "good people... we don't know what happened." They're humanized first. They are criminals over everything (like you've just done to him). We are never humanized. Then we got people like you saying that shit is okay.
