day or two after that hit up user and supervisor saying "havent heard back from you on this. can someone please assist, or point me in the right direction?"
make it look like you willing to do it though it's not really on you. dry snitching at it finest. plus you done gave the person two chances in writing. that way they know you weren't sleeping on the task. i'd always rather have something in email than trying to remember a conversation i had with someone a few days prior.
