My problem with Madea's cooning is the why she always haas to talk so "Black"
and carrying a 45 revolver in her purse at all times
only other movie i can think that comes to that level of buffoonery is the movie with the fat white lady that is being persued for credit identity fraud
never seen it
just saw the commercials and the backlash because fat ppl was saying she makes them look bad

>That leaves Kevin Hart, who doesn't do anything in films you

>it depending on the film. Should he be taking on military
>drama parts instead?

no. i want more boirng plot movies with more black faces
you know what movie that was kind of decent
the movie with forrest whitaker when he played the radio DJ and his son married the mexican girl
it was a bit racial at times but overall the movie was a good "dumb out" movie

>>Friday had limited box office success
>One what planet? It was a cheap film that became a cult
>classic and made enough money )especially on video_ to garner
>two sequels.

it was only in theaters for like 2-3 weeks
but the DVD game is what got it poppin
budget was $7M nad it grossed $20M in those few weeks it ran
but i'm sure DVD sales were astronomical

>Ice Cube's made two films for Disney, "I Got the Hook Up" and
>"The Glass Shield" (both Miramax films made when Disney still
>owned them). I'm sure there aren't the ones you were thinking
>of. He's made his "family films" at literally every other
>studio _except_ Disney.

yeah you know what i meant
them "the johnsons go on a summer vacation" style movies
i think beverly johnson was ice cube's wife
cuba gooding had them movies where he was a camp counselor
jerry maguire got great reviews but he was an athlete

thanks for your time in entertaining my entertainment questions and comments. i learned a lot.
i actually had a film studio client where i would predict DVD sales via box office sales
problem was studios were wasting a bunch of money printing up all these DVDs for films then they wouldn't sale then end up in the 99cent bin at walmart
in order to have less "lossage" they wanted to get a better handle on how many dvds they'd need to print up in the first 90day run
i never would have guessed it but justin beiber and them were KILLING the dvd game
lot of straight to dvd flicks
KILLING it
we guessed this was due to families buying their kids stuff for xmas
but yeah
it was costing the studios like $2 to press every DVD
so 400,000 units of G.I. Joe pt Trilogy left on the shelf is nothing to sneeze at
