national lampoon, a looong time ago had a story about frats (white) and hazing rituals. and it included descriptions of toast or the spunk toast game, as well as the elephant march, in which a bunch of dudes marched around a circle with the thumb on one hand in their mouth and the other in their (pledge brother? whatever the fk they call each other)'s butt.

i bought that magazine b/c it would have humor articles sometimes (like a version of Mad Magazine or Cracked, except with cussing). i'm lookin at that shit like, O_O. wtf?

so when the whole subject of toast came up (no pun) years later on okp, i was like, wtf? there are ppl doing this outside of whiteboy frats?

those factoids are up there with knowing that anne boleyn supposedly had 3 titties. (from the book of lists).
