I do doubt that sponsors are pilling out though. I don't think the black greek lobby is that powerful.

It's just this selective outrage is especially hypocritical.
These women on the show are members of the sorority, like it or not. There are upstanding members and not so upstanding members. The show tends to focus on the non upstanding ones (at least I guess. Never seen the show). Presumably because they are mote entertaining.

We see the same dynamic play out in the general population too. The women on Housewives aren't the beacon on black society, but they are entertaining.

The fact that someone would be outrage at the damage the sorority show is doing to black women, but at the same time get the popcorn out for Housewives is ridiculous
