Jean Grae and her band The Everybody’s Pregnant serve up the lo-fi official video for “underneathu” from her #5 EP. Spreading their sexy all over public access television after one hell of an intro from Adam Mansbach, the band out-nasties nasty Prince with a performance that combines the best of 80’s glam & blues with the flower bearer action from Coming To America
. The requisite romantic sax solo completes the set. Check the footage below to watch Jean Grae perform “underneathu” backed by Walt Chocolate (Quelle Chris), The Mechanic (Donwill), Leticia J and Ricky Diamond (Sonnymoon) with a little help from Kiki (Fernanda Meier).
