I split one of my fingers open once and it required a trip to the ER for stitches. The doc had to shoot my hand up five times in order to really numb it to the point where they could apply the stitches, but even then I could still feel it a bit.

I had one of my wisdom teeth pulled after it had cracked. Same problem, the dentist shot up my mouth over and over in order to numb it. After 30 minutes of trying and I don't know how many shots it was finally numb enough to pull it but I started feeling again just as he pulled it out.

Yours will likely be effortless. I just have this lil special issue.
