My constant complaint of Prince is that he has utterly divorced himself from Modern Black Music and sounds lost in his own world of funk that no one is interested in.
To me this sounds totally uninterested in anything that is on the radio, reaches back to classic sound AND creates something completely new and fresh sounding. I love it.
