Because her drama is now your drama because you let it be, maybe with the best intentions, but by your own choice to deal with this raggity woman and get exploited in her never ending drama. Holding her responsible would have been not helping her for the 50th time and instead letting her feel the full consequences of her actions. That's different than offering help, she walks all over you, you mad, she gets her stuff when she feel like it, has another drama... wash rinse repeat...she doesn't learn nothing. You cant hold her shit/rescue her and hold a mirror to her at the same time. You gotta pick one or the other.

She chose you because she knows she can walk all over you and the consequences aren't that deep, which she knows because she's used you in the past and you're still came back for more. Everyone else in her life probably cut her off a long time ago because of this very nonsense you're dealing with. Don't enable her bad behavior and get your pressure up.

If her shit was at a storage place, if she didn't pay they'd be holding her shit hostage and charging her interest and late fees. Eventually they'd sell her shit. From you she get's angry calls. Which one is better equipped to hold her accountable if that's the goal?
