you hate young ppl's music and fashion choices because you are old.
those entitled youth skip from job to job because the job market is terrible,
at least in part because of decisions made by the generation before us.

things adults told me:

"you need to know the Pythagorean Theorem. Not just for the test. You use it everyday life." (i have never in my life used the Pythagorean Theorem in
real life after leaving school. That was a lie.)"

"Once you get to the real world, you'll understand why it's important to go
to church. These are lessons you can't get any other place." (again, not true.)

etc.


i am not judging adults here.
they didn't have answers then and i don't have them now.

but some of the shit some adults said to me was wrong.
the adults i respected most would explain things they got and admit
when they didn't know.

the ppl that tried to get me to view the world in black and white
were wrong then, and they are wrong today.
