i think i trusted whatever adults said as true until i was in middle school.
i'm still undoing a lot of bullshit they said that i just believed.

think of it this way.

i am now the same age my mother was when she had me.
i, right now-- today, don't have answers.

but if i had a kid, sometimes I'd just have to come up with some answers.
i'd be making some shit up as i went along.

adulthood doesn't grant you some magical insight that you got on a kit
when you turn a certain age.

and sometimes, if a kid points out something that don't make sense,
adults get defensive.

just like i get defensive sometimes.

because humans are human, and nobody really gets what's going on or why.
