Someone I used to mess with & is way more of a friend than anything now, but we didn't start that way.
She saw I was in town and wanted to link up. It ate at me a bit. A couple years ago I brought my lady to Texas for the first time, it was my birthday and I invited pretty much everyone I knew.
She was one of the people that didn't show up but aimed to try to get us to divert plans to hang out with her. I don't really divert plans for other people, let alone on my birthday weekend.
Anyways, I passed on hanging out. I'll see her at an event with friends later this weekend. But aside from people that I've KNOWN for years, I'm not comfortable meeting up with women my lady hasn't met.

That did not at all used to be the case.
