Anyone here sell things they own before they buy new things?
Like you got an old TV, so you sell it then take that money (and a little more) and buy a new TV?
I have friends who just keep every old thing and squirrel it away when there's still a window where it worth "good money." So the have 40" LCD TVs from 2006 doing nothing but taking up space. They could of sold it in 2010 for some money, but now it's pretty much worthless.
What's your strategy?

just sell off a couple to get what i want
also electronics aswell
you buy quality... no matter when you sale you can get some good money on resell to put it towards something else
this is one reason why i exclusively buy apple products
