I humbly submit to the committee the following proposal:

Make some Black history during feb 2015 by not buying shit

?

Solves the Christmas conundrum
Gives additional time for marketing, promo, etc
Tie in with an already established hella black period
Still a significant amount of time to make a statement
Could become a annual thing...maybe?

Doesn't have the ring of #cancelchristmas I'll grant

But it's an alternative
