I definitely think those are valid points, but we're literally at a point where we don't have the luxury of choosing between taking some kind of stand, and making sure your kids can buy crap they don't need, 12 months after you just bought them shit they don't need.

I don't see why this an issue. They're kids. Are black parents more concerned with disappointing their kids on Christmas...or identifying their body in the morgue?

And honestly, I'd feel better about my job as a parent if my kids knew I actually tried to come together with folks and make an effort to change shit, instead of just going along to get along.
