Black people getting together to do anything is going to be seen as "sticking it to the man", and I really don't have a problem with that. You can sit on the sidewalk silent with a sign that says "Boycott Christmas" and it's gonna be viewed that way by many people. Fuck them. They're part of the problem. In my opinion, this should be seen as black people deciding to use our Christmas/ Holiday spending in others ways than to keep suring up the same companies that have a hand in sustaining the racial climate in this country. This shit is gonna be adversarial by its very nature.
