Parents are talking about "having the talk" with their kids about the police and how to stay out of their way and act so they don't get shot. Use canceling christmas to speak not only to your kids, but to the world that your children are valuable and if you have to sacrifice their ability to play a new X-Box to bring attention to it, than it's a small price to pay.

I don't think standing in a national boycott to end police brutality is punishing kids. If anything it's glorifying them.
