it's being triggered by police but it's really about violence in the black community in general, and histories of policy making that have fostered the types of environments where these types of things happen.

i woke up this morning just in pain after reading about sixteenstone's cousin. we all know that chicago's been popping off like that and because of that another innocent life has been took in what without the details could still be called justified. how do we stop the not just the Mike Brown's from happening if we aren't addressing the bigger picture.

bigger picture is the policies which create this environment. police are just a faction of that. an important one no doubt but making it us vs the police is a losing battle at the moment.
