12403999, Groomsmen favors?
Posted by gumz, Mon Apr-07-14 09:23 AM
What did yall married folks give your groomsmen? Wasn't sure what to get mine so I covered the cost of renting their suits and am giving them a tie. Was thinking of throwing something else in, something small but cant really think of anything. Some dope argyle socks was an idea i had but haven't found any i really like that fit with everything.

Any recommendations? I didn't want to go the usual route and get flasks or something like that. Half of them don't drink anyway.

I bought my groomsman's their ties, pocket squares, and socks.

But for their actual gift/favors I bought them all flasks and filled each of them with their favorite spirits.

They seem to really enjoy that.

As for the 125K goodies? This is what it will reportedly get guests: $500 bottles of Bollinger champagne, $200 Creme de la Mer products, handmade souvenir trinkets with Kim and Kanye's initials etched in Swarovski crystals, bottles of scents from local perfumeries, and $250 vouchers for treatments at the hotel's spa. Talk about a wedding favor!

I call bullshit... where the hell is the other $124,050 of goods?

12404493, if I had it, i'd ball out too...
Posted by morpheme, Mon Apr-07-14 02:47 PM

we shouldn't know gifts their guests are slated to receive.

12710910, What's the criteria for being a groomsman?
Posted by deejboram, Tue Jan-27-15 07:00 PM
Like, how long you have to know a guy before you ask him to be IN your wedding?

How tight yall gotta be for him to be IN your wedding?

All up in the pics, videos and forever cemented in your invitations, programs and shit.

my groomsmen were friends from UF, and my brother-in-law is a syracuse fan, so between all of them, I got them custom orange and blue dunks, with their names/nicknames on the ID. Also copped a pair for myself. It was about $80-100 each.

I found several high quality name brand portfolios and things at an affordable price, and went that route.

I thought I had to be really conscious of the age range of my groomsmen. Flasks were out, because at the time my little brother was underage and I didn't think my team drank like that.

Another idea is to get them photos of together after the wedding is over, in nice frames.
