You can adjust the distance you have to be from the car in front of you for it to kick in. I tried that for awhile and it was better. Ultimately I want to drive my car, not have the car drive me so I turned that feature all the way off. I don’t have a tailgating problem, so I feel like I’ll continue to do just fine without that feature.
