We made moves to be pretty much debt free by the time we retired. It makes absolutely no financial sense whatsoever to move. I have a family member who chased happiness and l and leans heavily on us financially in their elder years. I see this a lot at work and with friends, which will likely keep us from moving , ‘cause we don’t want to do that to our kids.

But I can’t deny that the neighborhood is not the same and I don’t see it improving.

Guess we’re not moving to San Diego cause WTF!!! And I know that house isn’t as big as it looks in those pictures.
