Cat fractured paw.
After $1400 in emergency vet visits in the U.S. they give estimate of $8k to amputate or $12k for surgery.
TJ vet (who has like 1,000 reviews on Reddit and Yelp) is doing it for $1,900.
The confession part is that it seems taboo to bring cat across the border.
