He doesn't have to be a punching bag.

But none of the personal ahit he says in response can change the reason he's been a punchline for the entirety of his career.

He's done a great job shifting the narrative.

He's- wisely, depending on your perspective- found a way to milk his notoriety into some attenn and support.

But if you were a fan of any of his teams from those days, that lowlight reel is absolutely not the same what you get from other players, because this clip was the shit that stood out in real time.

He just didn't have the skills to be consistently competent, let alone good, as an NBA player. It is what it is.

But don't pretend that this was some cherry picked reel of fuckups.
