I can see reasons for getting rid of it, but it was also a tool that helped keep 45 and crew from getting more stuff passed over the last 4 years - both practically and as a threat that kept certain things from coming to a vote.

I can't tell if it would pave the way for actual legislation to get passed and start moving things forward, or if it would just create a situation where we spasm violently back and forth between two polar extremes in which laws are constantly passed and then replaced every two to four years.

I wish I knew the answer. But to your point - if they do pull the trigger and remove the Filibuster they need to go hard and go quick, because they got like 20 months or so to get some shit done, and after that it's a toss up.
