I don't understand how anyone who calls themselves a leftist can hate Glenn Greenwald. What do you dislike? That he effectively subverts the most popular cable news show? That he makes powerful, empirical indictments of the pathologies in both the Democratic & Republican parties? That he broke the Snowden story? That he exposed Brazilian right-wingers and fascists? I don't agree with everything he says. I don't agree with anyone about everything! Neither do you! The idea that Greenwald is a useful idiot for the right or a Dave Rubin type character is so beyond stupid that I can't even and I never use that phrase. Goodnight.

People who want to claim that a person is “on the right” or “on the left”or whatever should be able to identify a few positions and beliefs the person holds indicative of that ideology. Those terms reference an ideological belief system; they’re not tribal identifiers.
