But I just find cruises a bit dicey. When they are great they are great, but there is a lot that can go wrong from discovering you easily get sea sick, to a not nice ship, to getting sick.
The range of experience from a midway resort to a high-end resort isn't THAT wide in my experience. Can't say the same for cruises.
