I said all the above and have a 17 year old that I've NEVER had to beat/spank/etc...his mom's did once when he was younger

We've had it relatively easy/blessed because he's just not wired with rebellion...which comes with a whole nother set of issues.

I just think the levels of discipline s/b appropriate for the offense/ offender
