this isn't an outlandish theory. trolling is a thing people do, and it's going to happen more often that most of these interns and middle level staffers are millenials.
the claim isn't even that she's racist or a white supremacist. it's that she's trivializing racism for kicks/for provocation.
and those obama conspiracy theorists are driving around with #qanon bumper stickers right now. they'll never stop.
