A couple of language changes would have been more compelling
Eels = immigrants
Graffiti = anything other than graffiti
I wasn't buying MBJ's conflict with his character's life path
Felt very rushed
...I'm a 3rd generation firefighter...but this book I kept has me reconsidering my entire existence...
The movie needed to build up to that.
