Tho shit was going left way back. Bad Boy era was the beginning of the end. Everything's been progressively getting simplified and watered-down ever since.

My theory is that HIP HOP IS DONE. Real music from young people is going to come from something else (the return of talented singers? Bands?). Not some "new" form of hip hop which is really isn't.
