especially with how mainstream media soft-shoes and both-sides everything.
just look at how trump and republicans largely succeeded in painting the obama economy as a disaster and the trump economy as a newly booming growth cycle within a couple months of his inauguration.
unfortunately you *have* to take control of the message/narrative and tell what people what to think.
