was mostly listening to radio and west coast until '00. aquemini and things fall apart made me realize there are more possibilities in hiphop.
i was on a santana kick at the time that i first heard aquemini...i was like whoa hiphop can do this????
when i heard 3 feet high i was like whoa this was done since when???? why is everything just bling?
i understand loving pure boom-bap hiphop and really enjoy it myself but i really love when boundaries get pushed and it works.
