alt-right groups keep growing because trolling and racism are things. they keep growing because it's in line with a trend going back two generations after white people in america decided it was too hard to follow through with the consequences of the civil rights movement.

which is part of an even longer trend of the privileged failing to follow through with the dismantling of slavery or the principles of democracy and enlightenment before that.
