13073236, I still think about my quandary often.

I worked for iTunes for seven years. During my time there:

-My manager openly said in a staff meeting that we essentially had a no-poaching agreement with Google and to tell her if we got any calls from Google recruiters. Which is of course, wildly illegal and Apple and Google and bunches of other companies eventually got sued for. I was just so stunned that she said it openly in a meeting that I was like "well, she perhaps misspoke? Or maybe i don't understand the law?" But no, it was straight up dirty. Should grabbed an employent lawyer and got them ducats. Oh well.

-I head about the Steve Jobs dinner with all the major book publishers where they agreed on e-books pricing. http://curtisagency.com/blog/2012/04/apple-on-conspiracy-dinner-menu.html Again, from a manager, more senior than my direct manager. Again, I was like "like, what? A company like Apple wouldn't do something so cray illegal like that and let people like this manager know about it. He must have misspoke." But no, it was straight up dirty. Should grabbed an anti-trust lawyer and got them ducats. Oh well.
