and it wasn't about this, but that title always stuck with me
seems like this is an example of that.
lots of people seem to not care about climate change until it affects them directly.
you're saying the people who climate change does directly affect don't need to hear shit about it because that's only preventing it from happening to others in the future, not doing them any good.
(even though speeches/action on climate change aren't mutually exclusive with direct assistance now)
there's always going to be a reason not to deal with it.
