You really have to have a strong desire to be upset, bothered, irritated, angry or what have you for this to matter in the slightest.

It's completely arbitrary and there's no reason anyone can give that isn't attached to some abstract concept of "respect" or "good manners".

It's like demanding that people eat each item on their plate with its corresponding "proper" fork. It's just a construct that doesn't have any real meaning behind it.

It's a made up thing that pisses people off to hilarious degrees when people don't adhere to it.

Watch: nobody in here will offer up a single sensible reason why it's such a big deal.
