They decided to run for the DEMOCRATIC nom. More than a few legal eagles and experts on that staff. What happened is they saw a widely disliked presumptive candidate and knew this was the perfect opportunity to try to get the nom... As a dem...like his supporters will never let u forget (and it's absolutely true and I commend/admire Bernie for that), Bernie has been saying the same progressive ideas for decades. Yet he picks this time to run. Not against Obama, not against Bill. But the loathed HRC
He is a shrewdest political insider just like the villafied Clinton
