One homegirl of mine moved to ATL. This was my road dog. Rolled with me and my crew hard.
She got involved with some dude. Got preggers. Didn't ask at first. Didn't seem like she'd want to have a baby at that point in life. She said the condom broke and the day after pill was too expensive.
Word? Joint is like $50. Even back then, the joint was about the same price and that's cheaper than raising a kid for at least 18 years.
I let it drop and was like "oh, word up". I figured she was either trying to trap dude (unlikely) or she just subconsciously wanted to slow it down life-wise.
