Columbus is close, but not as big.
Mardis Gras/Cinco De Mayo tends to have more minorities, and the vibe feels a bit different.
But Paddy's has that unite like Voltron BROSEF power that it's scary. If 5 dudes mollywopped someone into a coma during Mardis Gras or Cinco De Mayo id be like, "Damn, that's fucked up...what's wrong with people today".

As a professional barfly I never even understood the appeal after a certain age. It's harder to get a drink, they tend to all be shitty, the odds of you getting laid are low since everyone's cliqued up hard, conversation consists of lame sports cliche's, and you don't even get a day off. What a shitty holiday.
