Rousey had allegedly been at the top of the sport for a bit now although many claimed that she hadn't really proved herself based on the competition.

Similarly with Lebron, he was recognized as the best player in the game for a few years at that point, dubbed the king, but still never won a ring and had certain parts of his game criticized (jumpshooting, taking the last shot) so many felt he hadn't quite earned all the accolades he had gotten so far.

Cam imo would have to have a couple more dominant years to be recognized the way Rousey/Lebron were.
