Keep meaning to blog this but I haven't. This is the weakest crop of candidates in my lifetime and they are all going to need a rival to vote against as much as they need people to vote for them.

It's why Trump, while he does match up well against HIllary, is great for Clinton because people will come out in mass to stop Trump from being President. The Republicans had it good with Clinton and Bernie but now that there's potentially an instant seat on the line? People are going to support whoever to make it happen. Even Cruz isn't asshole enough to sandbag a rival in this case. (Probably. He's a huge asshole.)
