because people don't 'choose' what their preferences are. Orientation is a preference because sexuality is fluid. This is why a black man who 'prefers' black woman doesn't become asexual when he moves to Iceland. His preferences adjust and adapt to what surrounds him.

People like to eff. How and who they eff is the domain of preference. We don't simply choose our preferences.....they are a result of a very complex combination of nature, nurture and environment. And that's an extremely good reason not to judge anyone for them. Our judgements should stay out of each other's bedrooms. Full stop.
