12905086, Let's talk Slang: Did people ever use the term "Mack Daddy" earnestly. Posted by Buddy_Gilapagos, Thu Oct-01-15 09:18 AM
Like were rappers and other folks saying " I'm a Mack Daddy" seriously or was it always just jokes? Was it cool before that Criss Cross song?
Name some slang that just sounds ridiculous to you now.
I think the use of the term "bitch" by dudes talking to other dudes has died down a little bit. I remember post Dave Chapelle folks referred to everyone as bitch. Like ""What's up Bitch" was a common way for Bros to talk to each other.
I am kind of mad that Bro has become to mean a white frat boy. Bro is a pretty great term to refer to a friend. I guess I try to get around to it by referring to people as "brah" or "brother".
I don't think I will ever comfortably use the term "bae" but I can see the appeal.
"Turned Up" has got to go.
Name some cool slang that white people ruined.
