and please understand what "broke" means to a woman. it means crusty feet, DIY hair, wack gear and cheap perfume. if a woman is broke, she does not have the financial resources to look her best, and aint no dude wifing that unless he's subsidizing.

and unlike men, women in this position do not have the option of hoping that a man will see her "potential" and wife her anyway.

i also feel like a lot of dudes may not necessarily have an opinion about a woman's finances, but when they come across someone who is significantly more successful than them, that can be a strong motivating factor in marrying her.
