but I'm a New Yorker. My wife grew up in a "city" that might as well been the burbs, and while she loves urban living, I think she sees suburban life as an inevitable part of aging. In reality, it's only inevitable because we can't afford to live in DC AND put two kids through private school, and we ain't fucking with the DCPS.
