if you're blaming the cops turning a blind eye as the reason that all this violence is taking place, then it supports the narrative that "if not for the heavy handed policing of 'those neighborhoods' then 'those people' would be out in the streets killing each other. The cops are juse doing what they have to do to keep people safe"
