but the move was necessary for the obvious business reasons (aka getting the f*ck away from the impending Suge-led disaster).

He got better with each subsequent No Limit release thru Last Meal, then hasn't looked back since getting into his own situation afterwards.

In recent years he's taken some major musical risks while being over two decades in but actually managing to be more publicly himself than ever.
