Now that I think of it, I only say something if the parent is being abusive or endangering the child. In every other situation, I mind my own business. I did say something to a parent on the playground the other day. Some boys were playing a little rough and a white dad said something out of pocket to the little black boy...almost threatening, and I had to check him.
