and as such, they're under the impression that they need to re-establish the characters in this universe; for all intents and purposes (especially considering the underperformance of "Superman Returns" the earlier Superman films are considered to have never happened).

That being said, I don't think they're rushing the Superman part of this, and the Batman part of this is clearly on track; my question is how they're going to squeeze in all these other hero cameos in, and how a Greco-Roman demigoddess with magic powers and a superhuman demigod of the sea are going to be made to fit into this oh-so-serious Nolan/Snyderverse (the other Justice League characters are sci-fi or adventure based, and would fit just fine).
