clients lie to us all the time. It's expected. If I withdrew every time I found out a client had lied to me about an important fact I'd withdraw in most of my cases. Clients lie and we have to work with and around that reality. Also, we represent guilty ppl all the time. It's the job. So I cannot understand why this attorney thinks he can withdraw from this matter without violating some ethical rule. Or maybe he doesn't give a shit.
